So last week I checked out another vegan restaurant called Saveurs Veget’halles. It’s near Les Halles (the shopping center/metro/RER station) with a new vegan friend of mine. We got there a bit early, and after walking up the street to check out Le Bio d’Adam et Eve (which I’ll talk about later, although I haven’t eaten there yet) we went back and they let us chill at an outdoor table until 6:30. The interior looked really nice, too, but the weather was just so great that day that we barely glanced inside.
Everything on the menu looked so tasty, but I went with a combination of a mushroom paté starter (with carmelized onions on top), one of the plates of the day, a vegetable fish, and a berry crumble for dessert. Everything was delicious, though I think my favourite was actually the starter. I’m going to figure out how to make this at home! I wasn’t a fan of the side dishes that came with the “fish”… some sort of rice and grains. I felt that was a little dull. I should have asked what they were, sorry about that. I’m new to this reviewing restaurants thing! But I’m sure I’ll be going back to Veget’halles, and then I can update this review. Check out the photos of our meals!
